Dr. M. Premkumar was born in Coimbatore, India. He has received a B.E. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, India, and an M.E. degree in Applied Electronics from the Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore, India. He has received a Ph.D. degree from Anna University, Chennai, India. He has more than 14 years of experience in teaching, and currently, he is working as an Associate Professor and Head at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. He is also associated with the Institute of Power Engineering, UNITEN, Malaysia, as a Research Fellow (International).
